As a Senior Cyber Security Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing advanced security application solutions that enable application and security engineers to work more effectively to detect and resolve security issues. Your expertise will be crucial in automating processes related to vulnerabilities, discovery of resources, and ensuring the integrity of our systems. You will be involved in all phases of the development life cycle including collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and create state-of-the-art security measures that help safeguard our digital assets. You should be knowledgeable in object-oriented development and engineering best practices.What Youll Do:

Enhance SecurityDesign and implement features to boost Blackbaud products with robust security and automation.

Drive ImprovementsIdentify and implement enhancements to improve client experience and performance.

CollaborateWork with stakeholders and team members, providing updates at daily standups.

Maintain and SupportParticipate in the ongoing maintenance and support of solutions.

Practice AgileFollow Agile development best practices and processes.

Design SolutionsCollaborate on technical design with other engineers.

Stay UpdatedKeep abreast of the latest technical developments.

Ensure ComplianceAdhere to web standards and accessibility requirements.

What You'll Bring:

Experience6+ years in designing and developing applications on the Microsoft stack.

Cyber SecurityGeneral knowledge of cyber security for infrastructure and applications.

Security ToolsFamiliarity with cyber security tools and APIs.

Web TechnologiesProficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and Angular.

Backend SkillsStrong in C#, .NET Core, and Cosmos DB.

Azure ExpertiseFamiliar with AKS, Storage, Queue, Key Vault, and Redis.

Best PracticesKnowledge of software engineering best practices and object-oriented development.

APIsExperience with RESTful services and APIs.

ToolsFamiliar with Git and continuous integration systems.

Ability to deliver code which meets minimum standards of security, quality and operability.
