Senior Credit Analyst

You will be responsible for developing and building the Banking product offering of Galytix on Credit, with a focus on improving efficiency, experience, and streamlining workflows of Credit Analysts at global banks. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating understanding of global accounting standards such as IFRS and US-GAAP, and analyzing current and past financial data to help build Early Warning Signals for the future. - Analyzing Financial Statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and associated notes. - Building standardised harmonisation rules for automated spreading and associated downstream credit and risk processes. - Calculating adjusted debt and analyzing off-balance sheet debt items. - Preparing and validating credit report templates across multiple industries. - Engaging with multiple clients and end users to better understand their technical and reporting requirements and contribute to driving the product roadmap forward. - Actively participating in training the internal team on credit and banking content. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 5-8 years of relevant experience as a credit analyst in commercial banks. - A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. - Advanced certifications such as CFA, FRM, or an MBA with a focus on finance or risk management (optional but preferred). - Strong listening skills to understand client needs, concerns, and risk appetite. - Excellent stakeholder management skills. - Attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
