To manage and lead the collections operations for Consumer Durable (CD) loans within the assigned zone. Responsible for achieving collection targets, minimizing delinquencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards across branches in the zone. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement zonal collection strategies aligned with organizational goals. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recovery trends. Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of Area/Regional Collection Managers and third-party collection agencies. Conduct regular training and performance reviews for the collections team. Operational Management: Ensure timely recovery of overdue accounts in the Consumer Durable Loans portfolio. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly collections data and MIS reports. Coordinate with credit, legal, and sales departments for recovery efforts. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all regulatory norms and internal policies. Handle escalated customer issues or legal cases related to collections. Agency/Vendor Management: Appoint, evaluate, and manage collection agencies/vendors. Conduct audits and compliance checks on field collections activities. Customer Handling: Address serious delinquency cases with customer-centric approaches, while protecting company interests.
