As a Senior Counsellor / Career & Admissions Counsellor, your role involves providing guidance and support to students and parents in making important academic and career decisions. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting in-depth counseling sessions with students and parents to understand their needs and aspirations - Interpreting evaluation frameworks, assessments, and reports to provide personalized recommendations for academic and career pathways - Supporting students during critical decision-making phases and offering guidance throughout the process - Maintaining detailed counseling records and progress notes to track student development - Mentoring junior counsellors to ensure quality standards are met To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Education, Human Development, Counseling, or related fields - Certification in career counseling, psychometrics, or aptitude assessment is preferred Additionally, you are expected to demonstrate the following key skills and competencies: - Strong empathetic listening and diagnostic skills - Ability to interpret aptitude, personality, and assessment data effectively - Excellent one-on-one counseling and stakeholder communication abilities - High emotional intelligence and ethical conduct in all interactions - Structured thinking and documentation skills for maintaining accurate records - Confidence in guiding high-value academic and career decisions - Calm, mature, and professional demeanor to build trust with students and parents This role requires collaboration with sales and academic teams without any sales pressure. The company offers a full-time position with salary commensurate with experience. The work location is in person.
