Senior Content Writer

As a Senior Content Writer with a minimum of 4 years of experience, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing high-quality content for the official Madhya Pradesh Tourism's social media handles, website, and promotional materials. Your role will involve developing engaging tourism-related content such as articles, destination guides, itineraries, and blogs tailored to appeal to both domestic and international target audiences. Collaborating with the marketing team, you will play a key role in devising and executing a comprehensive content strategy to enhance tourism in Madhya Pradesh. This includes optimizing content for SEO to improve online visibility, monitoring performance metrics, analyzing results, and adjusting strategies accordingly. You will also be tasked with monitoring competitor activities, identifying trends, creating engaging social media posts, campaigns, and stories to showcase key destinations, events, and tourism activities, as well as engaging with followers, influencers, and tourism partners on social media platforms. Working closely with the creative design team, you will coordinate the production of visually appealing multimedia content such as reels, videos, and infographics that complement written materials. Additionally, you will liaise with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to develop high-quality tourism assets and collaborate with external agencies, influencers, and stakeholders to promote the tourism board's initiatives effectively. Staying abreast of industry trends, competitors, and emerging content marketing strategies will be crucial in ensuring innovative and fresh tourism promotions for Madhya Pradesh. You will be expected to incorporate historical, cultural, and regional aspects into your content, experiment with new formats and platforms to engage diverse audiences, and uphold editorial excellence by adhering to the tourism board's tone, style, and branding guidelines. Furthermore, you will be responsible for editing, proofreading, maintaining a content calendar, and ensuring the timely delivery of all projects, along with regular communication with clients and creating presentations for clients.
