Job Description

The role of Senior Consultant in Salesforce at EY involves understanding Salesforce architectural requirements and developing technical solutions based on functional requirements. You will be responsible for application design, solution, and development using the Salesforce stack. This includes configuring, designing, and building high-performance, reusable, and reliable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Writing test classes for the class with more than 80% code coverage is also a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will need to have experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation. Additionally, you will be required to develop lightning components according to application requirements and present solution walkthroughs to stakeholders. Leading and coordinating Daily Scrum Meetings with Product Owners and the team, translating business requirements/stories into executable tasks, contributing towards technical documentation and building prototypes are also part of the role. To be successful in this position, you should have 6 to 9 years of professional experience, with at least 5+ years in Salesforce. You must have successfully executed at least 2 Salesforce projects in an agile mode end-to-end in a Developer capacity. Hands-on technical experience in LWC, AURA, APEX, integrations using REST/SOAP/Bulk API, and proficiency in Salesforce lightning platform and community are essential. Good communication skills are also required. Qualifications for this role include a Btech/BE/BSc/BCA/ME/M.Tech/MCA/Msc degree, 6 to 9 years of experience in the IT industry, and Salesforce Certifications would be a plus. Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation skills, flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and comfort in interacting with senior executives are highly valued.
