Skills and attributes for success 5+ years of experience 3+ years of experience in Scala and Spark Strong knowledge on Scala and Oops concepts. Hands on experience on writing scala code. Worked on Spark implementation using scala. Expert in writing SQL queries. Experience writing test cases using Scala. Effective communicator. Ideally you ll also have Big Data Hadoop, Hive, understanding of MapReduce Pyspark ETL/ELT pipeline creation Orchestration Ability to translate functional requirements to design, develop and deploy People with the ability to work in a collaborative way to provide services across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements. You will need a practical approach to solving issues and complex problems with the ability to deliver insightful and practical solutions.
