Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our team in the Indirect Tax domain, specifically in TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications). The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of post-qualification experience. ### Roles and Responsibility Implement support for clients on GST projects, including impact analysis, compliance management, and transition issue identification. Execute assigned engagements, such as analyzing and interpreting provisions under the Central Excise Act & Rules, Customs Act & Rules, Cenvat Credit Rules, Service Tax Statute, and VAT provisions. Coordinate with departments for approvals and registrations. Demonstrate technical competence in capabilities and take a practical/business-driven approach to solving complex client challenges. Identify and flag follow-on engagement opportunities. Support and lead engagement activities from planning through implementation, managing potential issues and risks during client assignments. ### Job Requirements Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or MBA. Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in M&A taxation matters and working knowledge of SEBI, FEMA, and stamp duty laws. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver insightful and practical solutions. Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective cross-functional teamwork. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
