As a Senior Cloud Consultant at DHL IT Services, you will play a crucial role in delivering cloud native solution designs and architectures for key global initiatives based on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Stack IaaS and PaaS hosting models. Your passion for technology and strong public cloud network skills will enable you to work with the best, develop your leadership skills, and drive positive change within the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements. - Provide technical leadership on complex projects involving multidisciplinary engineering teams. - Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts, with a focus on network perspective. - Implement effective security strategies on cloud networks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines. - Perform project-based engineering, design, installation, and troubleshooting of Cloud and Enterprise network solutions. - Consult development teams on technical aspects of continuous integration/continuous delivery. - Advise customers on installation, sizing, scaling, and network configurations. - Evangelize re-use through shared asset implementation. - Enforce adherence to architectural standards, usability design standards, and global product-specific guidelines. - Provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices. - Support the infrastructure engineering team in identifying and addressing infrastructure deficiencies. - Assist in the design and implementation of interconnectivity of IaaS infrastructures from Public Cloud providers and Private Cloud implementations. - Create, maintain, and improve network support documentation and processes. - Support sales teams in creating technical proposals and providing costs of solution architecture. **Qualifications Required:** - Kubernetes Services knowledge is a huge plus. - Very good knowledge of a broader range of IaaS and PaaS services. - Good understanding of general cloud native concepts. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and organize under time and workload pressure. - Proficiency in spoken and written English for cross-region collaboration. - Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills. - Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction. - Balancing strategic decisions with practical considerations.
