Senior Consultant - Business Consulting PI Banking & Capital Markets- FS Mumbai

Role Overview: As a Senior Consultant-FS-Business Consulting PI-CNS in the Marketing Sales & Service team at EY, you will be part of a proficient team of business strategists, technologists, and industry leaders focusing on digital transformation in the financial services sector. You will work towards delivering exceptional client service and creating sustainable value in the industry. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and users to understand business needs, goals, and pain points. - Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, or interviews with cross-functional teams. - Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions. - Translate complex business requirements into well-structured user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria using Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Maintain and groom the product backlog; prioritize user stories based on business value and urgency. - Work closely with designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure stories are well understood and implemented as expected. - Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups as needed. - Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by validating whether developed solutions meet the intended business goals. - Continuously refine and improve user story documentation standards and practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in writing user stories, preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Strong understanding of business analysis, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile frameworks. - Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps. - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
