Job Description

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer position at Guidehouse India Private Limited involves working with the Platform Engineering team to contribute to infrastructure automation efforts across the company. The role requires expertise in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD tooling. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with tech leads and product managers to plan and implement complex cloud infrastructure while mentoring junior team members. Your responsibilities will include building standard Infrastructure-as-Code cloud service blueprints, committing changes to git repositories, and building automations in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions. Additionally, you will administer various flavors of Linux containers running in Kubernetes and other container services in public cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience with a minimum of 3 years in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering role. Strong knowledge of Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code and/or automation tools, agile methodologies, DevOps practices, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services like AWS and Azure is required. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python and Bash is also essential. It would be advantageous to have experience with Helm charts, Azure and/or AWS administration, Docker, maintaining Big Data or analytics platforms, and agile management tools like Jira, GitHub Projects, or Azure DevOps. Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure AZ900 or AWS CCP) and System Administrator level experience with Linux are preferred.
