Job Title: Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore (Onsite) Company: Trijit Technologies Pvt Ltd Shift: Rotational, Monday to Saturday Position Type: Full-Time About the Role: Trijit Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud and virtualized infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in virtualization (VMware/Proxmox), cloud platforms, networking, storage systems, and Windows/Linux administration. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, or system administration, and be eager to grow into a senior-level contributor. You will play a key role in managing secure, scalable, and high-performing systems across both cloud and on-premise environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms. Set up, configure, and maintain virtualized environments using VMware, Proxmox, or other hypervisors. Administer and optimize Linux and Windows-based servers across hybrid cloud/on-prem environments. Manage network infrastructure including DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and load balancers. Handle storage systems and backup strategies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage. Automate deployment and configuration tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Monitor systems using standard tools; diagnose and resolve infrastructure and performance issues. Work collaboratively with DevOps, IT, and application teams to ensure system availability and security. Provide basic to intermediate support for database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Document systems, procedures, and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team. Support and mentor junior engineers as needed. Requirements: Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, virtualization, or infrastructure support. Technical Skills: Experience with VMware and/or Proxmox virtualization platforms. Proficient in Linux and Windows system administration. Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Solid understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs). Experience managing storage systems (SAN, NAS, object storage). Familiarity with databases (basic administration and troubleshooting). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and monitoring tools. Preferred: Certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware, or related infrastructure domains. Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Self-driven with the ability to work independently and within teams. Willingness to take initiative and continuously improve infrastructure practices.
