Senior Civil Engineer

The responsibilities of this role include liaising with clients, managing project work on a day-to-day basis to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints. You must have a strong understanding of completing the design of civil elements like roads, drainage, and general infrastructure related to external works. Additionally, conducting site inspections, responding to technical queries from the Site Team, and writing reports such as technical feasibility studies, building inspection reports, and design reports are key aspects of this position. Moreover, you will be responsible for supervising junior staff members and mentoring graduate engineers. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and have at least 10 years of experience in construction, with a focus on municipal projects being a plus. Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills in previous roles are essential. Proficiency in Civil 3D is mandatory, while knowledge of Open Roads Designer and Geopak would be advantageous. Familiarity with developing construction documents, plans, and specifications is also required for this role.
