Responsibilities and Duties

Understand and implement Flipkart catalog quality guidelines
Write rich product descriptions using basic product information shared by sellersEnhance product discoverability by selecting appropriate search keywordsPerform quality check (QC) of the created contentCreate product catalogs on the Flipkart Web SiteMaintain records of day-to-day work by updating trackers to reflect the work doneProficiency in MS Excel is essentialGood written and oral communication skills in English is essentialExperience in developing product catalog/website content/content developments desirableAbility to dive deep into a problem, perform Root Cause Analysis and identify constraints to recommend a solutionAbility to deal with ambiguity use discretion and judgment to take decisions on critical business tasks based on available informationDemonstrate the highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and a strong work ethic.Consistent effort, intense commitment, perseverance, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed.Disciplined, with an ability to produce high-quality work facing the pressure of time constraints.Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards

JOB DETAILS

1. Listing products on e-commerce portals like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra etc within timelines

2. Write engaging and descriptive product descriptions to improve conversions

3. Ensure that the catalog contains accurate, comprehensive and high-quality product information

4. Co-ordinate with external photography studios for catalog shoots

5. Develop relationships with e-commerce portal POCs

6. Coordinate with various internal teams like Sourcing, eCommerce, Marketing, and Warehouse teams

7. Ensure that ongoing offers / promotions etc are accurately reflected on online marketplaces

8. Track KPIs of products to ensure visibility and sales

9. Identify opportunities and trends in market and highlight them internally
