• Job Title: Senior Technician – Car Showroom
• Location: Chromepet & Kattupakkam, Chennai
• Salary: Up to ₹27,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic checks and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
• Carry out repair and maintenance work as per manufacturer standards.
• Ensure timely completion of service jobs with quality and accuracy.
• Guide and mentor junior technicians and apprentices in technical tasks.
• Maintain proper documentation of service records, job cards, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with workshop safety and cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with service advisors for smooth workflow and customer updates.
• Keep updated with the latest automotive technologies and service practices.

Requirements

• ITI/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in car service and repairs (multi-brand experience preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of modern automobile systems (engine, transmission, electrical, diagnostics).
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, scanners, and service equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead by example.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
