Senior C++ Engineer

As a C++ Developer at Lynk, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software systems using modern C++ (C++11/14/17) for real-time, scalable applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building and optimizing low-latency, multithreaded modules for use in performance-critical environments such as distributed systems, infrastructure tooling, or real-time engines. - Contributing to the architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure reliability, maintainability, and performance of the codebase. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, DevOps, QA, and product managers to ship high-impact features. - Implementing and maintaining unit tests, integration tests, and performance benchmarking to ensure code quality and system robustness. To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements: - 4+ years of experience in production-grade C++ development, with a solid understanding of modern C++ features (C++11 and above). - Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, memory management, and concurrency. - Experience with Linux-based development, including familiarity with system calls, IPC, file I/O, and multithreading. - Proficiency in using debugging, profiling, and performance tuning tools. It would be nice to have experience with distributed systems, network programming, or embedded software, familiarity with build systems like CMake, Bazel, and continuous integration pipelines, exposure to unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test, Catch2) and tools like asan/tsan/ubsan, and an understanding of cross-platform development, real-time systems, or hardware-software interfacing.
