Senior buyer

The Category Buyer, Corporate Services will be responsible for managing a specific category or region within APAC. Your duties will include scouting and selecting suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts, and managing supplier relationships. You will develop and implement a sub-category strategy in the designated region and be accountable for achieving cost reduction targets within your assigned category or region. Key Responsibilities include: - Developing category strategies for the assigned categories - Managing supplier relationships and acting as the primary contact for suppliers in the region - Executing daily operations in alignment with regional category requirements - Negotiating long-term and spot contracts with suppliers, overseeing contract lifecycles, and ensuring timely updates - Monitoring supplier performance, focusing on cost, delivery, quality, and service - Driving year-over-year improvements in field spend and working capital through supplier negotiations and management - Standardizing solutions and increasing repeat buy percentage - Implementing end-to-end processes from a procurement perspective - Providing pre-bid support efficiently to support business delivery and growth - Monitoring and supporting procurement productivity improvement projects Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related Business field - 5 years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in Corporate Services category - Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with contracting - Knowledge of cost reduction methods and tools - Excellent interpersonal skills for managing internal and external relationships - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment - Experience working in multicultural and multifunctional teams - Preferably experience in an innovative and cost-conscious setting - Demonstrated honesty and integrity - Proficiency in English writing and reading - Willingness to travel as needed Join our team as a Category Buyer, Corporate Services and play a key role in driving strategic procurement initiatives and achieving cost savings goals within your assigned category or region.,
