Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

As a Business Intelligence / ETL Engineer at Delta technology and management services, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust BI/ETL solutions while contributing to individual and team success. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 6+ years of enterprise experience in BI and ETL environments, possess strong analytical abilities, and have deep expertise in data warehousing and dimensional modeling. Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and SQL is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze source systems and perform detailed data analysis. - Design and implement Source-Target Mapping definitions, transformations, jobs, and sequences. - Develop BI and Data Warehouse solutions with strong dimensional modeling skills. - Build and maintain SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS components. - Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform query performance tuning. - Integrate data from SQL Server and Oracle databases. - Extract and transform data using MDX queries. - Develop custom C#.NET functions for ETL transformations. - Document ETL processes and ensure proper unit testing and signoff. - Work independently as well as mentor and guide other team members. - Ensure project discipline by meeting deliverable dates and maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of enterprise-level experience in BI/ETL environments. - Strong analytical skills. - Expertise in Data Warehousing and BI architecture. - Strong dimensional modeling capabilities. - Proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS. - Strong SQL programming and stored procedure skills. - Hands-on experience with source/data analysis. - Proven knowledge of ETL performance tuning and optimization. - Experience in C#.NET for custom transformations. - Excellent verbal and written communication, including technical documentation.
