Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst I is a senior-level position that involves working with one or more business units to support moderately complex projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services that meet company cost, quality, and strategic targets. The primary focus of the role includes gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices, and identifying process improvements and functional specifications. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for automation projects, conducting analysis of existing processes for improvement opportunities, creating process maps and diagrams for current and future state processes, documenting functional and non-functional requirements, working closely with the technical team to ensure solutions meet business objectives, participating in the creation of test cases, serving as a liaison between business partners and technology teams, facilitating workshops and meetings to gather input, overseeing formal sign-off of requirements, and maintaining engagement with the Process Excellence community. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in process mapping tools, a focus on data-driven analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, experience with agile development methodologies, and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst and proven experience in business process management and/or process automation.
