Role Overview

Senior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirement gathering through client meetings, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
• Analyze business needs and convert them into detailed

  BRDs, FRDs, SRS

  , user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform

  process mapping, gap analysis, workflow design

  , and recommend optimized solutions.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and the technical team to ensure clarity in communication.
• Create process flow diagrams, wireframes, and detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, project managers, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Support

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  by validating test cases, monitoring defects, and ensuring closure.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, feasibility studies, and ROI-based business cases.
• Drive Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 4-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/Software companies.
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC

  , Agile/Scrum methodologies, and technical architectures.
• Proven experience in documenting BRD, FRD, SRS, EPICs, and user stories.
• Exposure to enterprise-level software such as

  ERP, CRM, SaaS systems

  , or large IT transformation projects.
• Exceptional communication, requirement elicitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand APIs, data flow, integrations, and system behavior.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with

  ERPNext

  , Frappe-based applications, or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of SQL basics, API concepts, or system integration workflows.
• Experience in client-facing roles with international customers.
• Ability to simplify complex requirements into user-friendly documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
