Senior BIM Technician

Role Overview: As a CAD/BIM Manager at WSP India, your role will involve leading project setup by agreeing on drawing strategy, type, and size of drawings with the project engineer. You will be responsible for managing the production of work to specified WSP CAD standards, ensuring revisions to standards as necessary. Collaborating with the Project Engineer and ME Client team, you will prioritize and set deadlines for drawing production. Additionally, you will coordinate engineering services to ensure timely inputs and outputs on projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead project setup by agreeing on drawing strategy, type, and size of drawings with the project engineer - Manage production of work to specified WSP CAD standards, suggesting revisions when needed - Coordinate engineering services to ensure timely inputs and outputs on projects - Review engineers" sketches and other design team members" drawings for buildability and completeness - Maintain logs of open queries and requests for information - Document and share knowledge on CAD/BIM skills with colleagues and the wider team - Plan and prepare standard details for repetitive or routine work - Ensure compliance with QA, document control, archiving, and CDM guidelines - Plan and produce templates and CAD library items to support design work - Participate in WSP India CAD/BIM forums and support the sharing of libraries and details with other teams Qualifications Required: - Diploma in CAD - Experience working in a similar role Company Details: WSP is a leading professional services consulting firm with a global presence.
