Senior BIM Engineer - Electrical

As an Electrical CAD Engineer at Jacobs, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary project team, collaborating with team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Your role will involve designing drawings according to specifications and markups, translating hand drawings and sketches into CAD systems, and interpreting designs accurately. You will be expected to adhere to the principles of Safety In Design, create and implement work methodologies and strategies, update and document all drawings, and ensure that the output meets the company's quality-assured delivery processes. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be crucial in delivering high-quality work. Key Skills required for this position include proven experience as an electrical CAD Engineer in projects related to Water, wastewater, Utility corridor development, Smart city Infrastructure, and Aviation. You should have expertise in preparing electrical drawings for various design stages, including Single and Key Line Diagrams, Schematic wiring diagrams, Switchyard layouts, Cable tray/Cable routing, lighting layouts, and more. A strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and experience in 3D modeling using software such as Aecosim, REVIT, and Civil 3D is essential for this role. Additionally, you should possess an understanding of relevant National and International industry electrical standards. To be eligible for this position, you must hold a minimum Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and have at least 10+ years of experience in CAD drafting and 3D modeling within the specified project domains.
