Role Overview: At BMC, we are looking for a Senior BI Analyst who will support senior leadership by providing data-driven insights and analytics to enhance customer success and align with business objectives. As a Senior BI Analyst, your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Tableau dashboards, analyzing customer behavior and trends, monitoring key customer success indicators, creating visually compelling reports for senior leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating data from multiple sources, providing data-driven recommendations, identifying key trends, and implementing automated workflows for reporting and analytics. Your role will be crucial in driving strategic decision-making and improving customer engagement and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards to provide actionable insights into customer success metrics - Analyze customer behavior, trends, and performance metrics to identify actionable improvement opportunities - Monitor key customer success indicators and provide insights to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction - Create visually compelling reports tailored for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions - Integrate data from multiple sources to create a unified view of performance - Provide data-driven recommendations to align customer success efforts with organizational objectives - Identify and report on key trends and anomalies in customer success data - Develop and implement automated workflows for reporting and analytics - Stay updated on Tableau and BI trends, implementing best practices in data visualization and analysis Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and data analysis - Expert proficiency in Tableau with demonstrated ability to build advanced visualizations - Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL writing - Proficient knowledge of Salesforce.com with experience in CRM data analysis and integration - Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for creating reports and presentations - Strong analytical skills and ability to critically evaluate data - Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions and design effective BI implementations - Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to deliver quality outcomes under tight deadlines - Strong communication and presentation skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders - Experience mentoring and training team members on technical skills and BI best practices - Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R, cloud-based platforms like AWS are a plus - Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and predictive analytics is a bonus - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred) Additional Company Details: At BMC, trust is not just a word - it's a way of life.
