Senior Battery Engineer

As a Battery Engineer specializing in Solid-State Electrolytes at QpiVolta, you will play a pivotal role in the development of next-generation metal anode-solid electrolyte batteries. Your expertise in solid-state electrolytes and electrochemical energy storage will be crucial as you engage in cell fabrication, characterization, and vendor management activities. To excel in this position, you should hold a B.Tech/Master's degree in Materials Science, Energy Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least 3 years of industrial experience. Your proven track record in materials synthesis, cell fabrication, and material characterization using various analytical techniques will be essential for success. Additionally, your proficiency in handling chemicals in a lab environment, theoretical understanding of ion transport in solid-state electrolytes, and ability to adapt to dynamic work settings will be highly valued. Desired qualifications include knowledge of theoretical studies, computational works, high-throughput experimentation, automated synthesis, as well as experience in lab technology and management. In this role, you will be responsible for cell assembly, conducting physical and electrochemical characterizations, developing novel electrode materials, and enhancing battery performance through innovative electrolyte formulations. Your tasks will also involve advancing characterization techniques, managing laboratory operations, interacting with stakeholders and vendors, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
