Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js + TypeScript + PostgreSQL)

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Azodha, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare technology. Azodha is dedicated to developing an AI-led digital enablement platform for the healthcare industry, and as we expand rapidly post a successful product launch, we are seeking an experienced individual who excels in dynamic startup environments. Your responsibilities will include architecting and constructing scalable backend services utilizing Node.js and TypeScript, crafting high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs, working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and ORMs like Prisma or TypeORM, as well as overseeing the complete development lifecycle from planning to deployment. Additionally, you will adhere to Agile methodologies, conduct code reviews, and provide guidance to junior team members, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch features. We are looking for someone with over 4 years of backend experience focusing on Node.js and TypeScript, proficient in relational databases particularly PostgreSQL, possessing a solid grasp of system design, database modeling, and data integrity principles. Your passion for writing clean, scalable code and adherence to engineering best practices, along with excellent communication skills and a proactive startup mindset, will make you an ideal fit for this role. Bonus points if you have knowledge of CI/CD, other backend languages, or have made contributions to open-source projects.
