Senior Backend Engineer (Java)

As a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Java and Spring Boot, you will play a crucial role in architecting and building scalable backend systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Architecting, designing, and developing robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot. - Leading asynchronous programming, multithreading, and concurrency solutions for high-performance applications. - Designing and optimizing database schemas using MySQL and NoSQL databases, with a preference for DynamoDB. - Integrating and managing caching systems like Redis and messaging queues such as Kafka. - Defining API contracts and ensuring robust RESTful API design and implementation. - Guiding cloud deployments and infrastructure on AWS, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB. - Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and maintainable architecture. - Mentoring junior engineers, enforcing coding standards, and best practices. - Participating in system design reviews and promoting best practices in scalable and distributed systems. Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development. - Strong experience in asynchronous programming, threading, and concurrency. - Expertise with MySQL and NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB. - Solid knowledge of Redis, Kafka, and messaging systems. - Deep understanding of cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS. - Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and scalable system design. - Proven experience in architecting large-scale, high-availability systems.
