Senior Backend Engineer

Roles And Responsibilities:

• You’re a self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through from conception to completion.
• Contributing to the technical conversations, understanding, and translating business needs from Product owners and other key stakeholders into technical requirements and implementations
• You will "own" features/tasks and are responsible for working with the team in scoping development and appropriate testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend and product teams to translate user needs into technical solutions, ensuring a cohesive and smooth user experience.
• Delivering quality applications/features built using modern Java
• Create documentation for future reference and support using Confluence
• Participate in Agile SCRUM activities such as daily Standup, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years

  of experience as a backend developer with 

  Java and Spring Boot.

• Prior experience with RESTful API design & implementation is mandatory.
• Prior experience with Microservices architecture is mandatory.
• Prior working experience with Unit Testing tools with Java.
• Prior Experience in both SQL-based databases (MySQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL-based databases like MongoDB, Amazon DocumentDB, Redis, Spring Data JPA and Hibernate (as JPA implementation) in a Spring Boot web application to implement the data access layer.
• Prior experience in working with AWS stacks like ECS, ECR, EKS, Lambda, EC2, Elastic Load Balancers, SQS, Amazon MQ, S3, CloudFront, RDS – Aurora MySQL, Amazon Document DB and Redshift
• Strong hands-on experience working with Git and Docker, automating builds and tests using CI/CD tools like Bitbucket Pipelines. 
• Strong with RDBMS concepts and experience in creating, maintaining, and tuning Tables, Schemas, Views, and Stored Procedures on Aurora MySQL Server
• Hands-on experience in database design and management
•  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
