Senior Backend Developer

As a talented and experienced Mid-Senior Level Software Engineer (Backend) at Gintaa, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems to support scalable applications. Here is a breakdown of your role: Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate. - Work extensively on microservices architecture and cloud environments to build and optimize backend applications. - Develop and manage microservices-based architectures and implement RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) solutions. - Build and maintain RESTful services for seamless integration with frontend and third-party applications. - Optimize system performance, security, and scalability while deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to convert business requirements into technical development items and lead a team effectively. Qualifications Required: - 9+ years of experience in backend development with Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC). - Strong knowledge of Hibernate (ORM) and database design principles. - Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful API development. - Proficiency in RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Experience with Kafka or equivalent tool for messaging and stream processing. - Basic knowledge of Node.js for backend services and APIs. - Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum methodology. - Proficient with Git, IDE tools such as IntelliJ and VS Code, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Understanding of system security, authentication and authorization best practices, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
