Senior BA, Data Sovereignty & FEDX

The Programme within Group Chief Data Office aims to uplift existing processes and controls and improve the data risk posture of the bank. As a part of the Data Sovereignty stream of the Mercury Programme, your role will involve collaborating with various Business and Functions teams, Compliance colleagues, and technology to design, implement, and operationalize capabilities for robust, streamlined, and customer-centric data risk management. Your key responsibilities will include identifying scenarios with data sovereignty risk implications, developing strategic plans for data sovereignty risk management, driving awareness through education and training, planning for data sovereignty requirements, analyzing challenges and proposing solutions, reviewing and enhancing the data sovereignty standard, developing governance frameworks, and designing control processes to ensure compliance with data management policies. To excel in this role, you should have experience in Data Management, Data Protection, Data Privacy, Cyber Security, and Data & Privacy Design. You must possess a good understanding of global data protection laws, hands-on experience in operationalizing data privacy or sovereignty processes, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective cross-functional collaboration skills in a multicultural environment. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification with extensive experience in data governance, privacy, or data sovereignty risk management.
