Senior Azure Cloud Architect

Key Skills: Azure, Architect Key Responsibilities: Architect and design end-to-end Azure cloud solutions, covering IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid architectures. Lead and manage on-premises to Azure migration projects, including assessments, roadmap creation, and execution strategy. Drive AVS to Azure Native transformation by modernizing workloads and integrating native Azure services. Define and implement enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud governance, security standards, and compliance protocols. Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and IT leadership to align cloud strategies with business goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architects, cloud engineers, and developers. Evaluate and recommend tools, services, and best practices for cloud optimization, automation, and performance. Develop high-level and low-level architecture documents, presentations, and technical blueprints. Oversee and contribute to cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Required & Experience: 8+ years of IT experience, with significant expertise in Azure cloud architecture. Deep understanding of Azure IaaS & PaaS services, networking, identity, storage, and security frameworks. Proven track record in leading large-scale migrations from on-premises or AVS to Azure Native. Strong experience in cloud architecture, application modernization, hybrid connectivity, and Azure Landing Zone deployments. Proficiency in cloud automation and deployment strategies using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM). In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Azure AD, ExpressRoute, and Vets. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience mentoring mid-level and junior technical staff. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture certifications. ITIL/Cloud Governance/Compliance certifications (preferred). Qualifications : B. Tech in Computer Engineering.
