The Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Test Automation Analyst to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Selenium or similar test automation tools and a solid understanding of software testing principles, test design, and agile delivery methodologies. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing using Selenium or comparable frameworks. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression testing. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. • Track, report, and triage defects using test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr). • Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed documentation on issues found. • Support the implementation of testing best practices, test strategies, and quality standards across projects. • Ensure automation scripts are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with project goals. • Support other test phases such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Verification Testing (PVT) Qualifications & Experience: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java, C#, or Python). Familiarity with other automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or Robot Framework. Good understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, BDD, TDD). Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI is a plus. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI test automation.
