Senior Automation QA

As a Senior Automation QA at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of location strategy projects. Your responsibilities will include planning, budgeting, and ensuring quality and governance standards are met. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, continuously improve testing processes, and ensure software quality and reliability. - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and compliance with quality standards. - Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection. - Analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to support defect resolution. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and share knowledge with peers. - Stay informed of industry technology trends, contribute to technology communities, and foster a culture of technical excellence. Qualifications Required: - Experience with Spark SQL, Python/Pyspark scripting, and ETL concepts. - Highly valued skills may include AWS exposure and Jupyter Notebook familiarity. This role is based out of Pune.
