Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our applications through automation. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. - Creating and executing API test cases using tools like Postman or Rest Assured. - Implementing and maintaining BDD test scripts using Cucumber in collaboration with developers and business analysts. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end quality. - Identifying test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and writing reusable automation scripts. - Analyzing test results, tracking defects, and ensuring timely resolution. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices. You must have the following skills to excel in this role: - Strong experience in Java programming for test automation. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver. - Proficiency in API testing for RESTful services. - Experience with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber. - Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA and TestRail. - Working knowledge of version control systems like Git. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include: - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI. - Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of performance or security testing. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Familiarity with Playwright for modern end-to-end testing. - Exposure to mobile automation tools like Appium.,
