Senior Automation Engineer - QE

Role Overview: As a Senior Automation Engineer at R Systems, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright. You will be responsible for designing automation strategies aligned with agile practices, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Your expertise in test development, pipeline optimization, and reporting will contribute to building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks for web applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build reusable UI automation frameworks using Playwright. - Define and implement end-to-end test automation strategies in alignment with agile development practices. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline. - Optimize automation frameworks for cloud-native environments to enable parallel execution and scalability. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient automated test scripts for web applications. - Monitor and enhance pipeline performance to ensure fast feedback loops and reliable test execution. - Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA leads to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Generate detailed test reports and provide actionable insights to improve product quality. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 years of experience in QA automation and CI/CD pipeline maintenance. - Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, preferably TypeScript/JavaScript. - Proven expertise in building automation frameworks from scratch. - Deep understanding of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Proficiency in version control systems like Git and test reporting tools like Allure or ExtentReports. - Solid grasp of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.,
