Job Description

As an individual assisting in the planning of audit engagements, you will play a crucial role in identifying key risks and controls to be audited, as well as determining the procedures to be performed. Following prescribed guidelines, you will conduct testing, analysis, and documentation of various business processes, risks, and controls. Your responsibilities will include performing specific audit procedures necessary to complete the audit engagement and documenting the conclusions drawn from your audit work. It will be your duty to ensure the factual accuracy of the audit conclusions reached with stakeholders and take ownership of discrete elements of audit engagements as agreed upon with engagement supervisors such as Audit Managers and Senior Audit Managers. Building knowledge of the organization, audit processes, and customers will be essential, as well as working with a moderate level of guidance. Having a good understanding of financial services processes, trade life-cycle, and identifying risks related to operational risks in trading activities and financial operations is critical. Regarding qualifications and experience, a degree or equivalent, along with a relevant professional qualification, is required. Additionally, being a Part Qualified Internal Audit Qualification (IIA/CIIA) or Part Qualified Accountant is necessary, with some relevant experience in audit/assurance delivery. Strong stakeholder management experience, experience in a fast-paced international organization, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are highly valued. A continuous improvement mindset is essential for this role.
