Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Understanding concepts of financial planning, including various super, pension, investment, and insurance related laws and terminologies. - Preparation of high quality Statement of Advice documents containing recommendations and client details. - Preparation of cash, super, pension, and investment projections. - Collating client data and product information, as well as documenting reports and correspondence. - Conducting need-analysis for financial planning clients, including insurance, investments, retirement, and tax. - Conducting portfolio analysis to provide advice on portfolio structure and risk analysis. - Updating and maintaining client data on software. - Reviewing and analyzing statements of advices prepared by team members. As a candidate, you should meet the following requirements: - Graduate/Post Graduate in finance or relevant degree. - Understanding of the financial planning process with attention to detail. - Good report writing skills and strong command over English. - Ability to work independently and multitask. - CFP certification is an added advantage. - Additional certifications from FPSB, NCFM, etc., are preferred. - Strong communication skills and experience using MS Word and Excel. - Sound technical knowledge including insurance, mutual funds, trusts, taxation, etc. - Self-motivated and able to take responsibility for your work.
