Senior Associate/Team Lead Mortgage Underwriter

You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in US Mortgage Documents, including borrower, lender, and vendor documents. Familiarity with the 4 Cs (Credit, Collateral, Capacity, and Capital) of Underwriting is essential. You will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, analyzing, and validating documents related to the 4 Cs, as well as performing necessary calculations. Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, and FHA/VA guidelines is preferred, along with exposure to MI guidelines. Your role will involve understanding and analyzing Underwriting Findings and Conditions, reviewing and validating borrower's employment and personal information, as well as mortgage documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. You will need to calculate income, assets, liabilities, DTI on the loan, and complete a full review of collateral, income, asset, liability, and credit review to determine the correctness of the Underwriter's decision. Additionally, you should be able to review, validate, and verify all types of income documents and calculate income from various sources such as wage earner, self-employment income, rental income, pension, social security income, etc. Flexibility in shifts is required for this role. Key Skills required for this position include Capacity, Capital, Collateral, Credit, and Mortgage Underwriting. The required education is a B.Com degree.
