Senior Associate US Mortgage Underwriting (L2)

As a Senior Associate (Trans-Processing L2) at our office located in Kochi Kakkanad, you will be part of our US Mortgage Underwriting Post Closing process team. We are seeking individuals with extensive experience in US Mortgage Underwriting, particularly in post-closing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a strong understanding of mortgage documentation. Your primary responsibilities will include attending and completing various training sessions, reviewing mortgage documents in accordance with client-defined processes, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines and client overlays, performing basic mortgage calculations, updating information in the Loan Origination System, communicating with clients for additional document requirements, and meeting document review timelines while striving for continuous improvement. It is essential to adhere to schedules, collaborate with support staff, and actively participate in performance improvement initiatives at both individual and program levels. To excel in this role, you must have at least 3 years of prior US Mortgage Underwriting experience, with post-closing mortgage experience being mandatory. A thorough knowledge of credit, income, asset, and property document review, familiarity with mortgage-related document requirements, and proficiency in English communication (both verbal and written) are crucial. Basic computer skills, particularly with Windows operating systems, strong analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills are also required. A UG degree is mandatory for this position (B.Tech candidates are not eligible), and immediate joiners are preferred.
