Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable and reliable
data pipeline architectures
using
Python
,
SQL
,
AWS
, and
Snowflake
.
Assemble large, complex datasets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements.
Automate manual processes using Python, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for improved scalability and performance.
Build ETL frameworks and analytics tools to support data transformation, reporting, and actionable insights.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Design, Data, and Executive teams) to address technical challenges and provide data infrastructure support.
Ensure data security and separation across geographic regions and AWS availability zones.
Collaborate with analytics experts to enhance data system functionality and performance.

Qualifications & Skills

3+ years
of experience in a data engineering or data scripting role.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in
SQL
and working with relational databases (e.g.,
PostgreSQL
,
SQL Server
).
Hands-on experience in
Python
scripting and using libraries like
Pandas
,
NumPy
, etc., for data processing and cleaning.
Knowledge of
web scraping
,
API integrations
, and automation of data workflows.
Experience with
Snowflake
,
AWS
, and
cloud services
such as
Azure
,
Google Cloud
, or equivalent.
Familiarity with
NoSQL databases
like
Cassandra
is a plus.
Ability to debug and resolve issues in scripts and workflows independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for working with both structured and unstructured data.
Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
