Job Description

As a Senior Associate Internal Project Manager at NTT DATA, your role involves being a subject matter expert responsible for planning, executing, and delivering information technology projects within scope, budget, and timeline. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure project success by utilizing effective project management methodologies. Key responsibilities include: - Engaging with key stakeholders to drive project success. - Clearly articulating project ideas to diverse audiences and finding win-win solutions. - Building consensus among stakeholders with varying interests. - Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. - Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. - Identifying and managing project dependencies, risks, and issues. - Proactively addressing potential roadblocks to keep the project on track. - Providing regular project updates to stakeholders. - Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements. - Identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation strategies. - Facilitating knowledge transfer sessions to improve future program execution. - Performing any other relevant tasks as required. To thrive in this role, you need to have: - Relevant knowledge of working within a matrixed global organization. - Good project management skills, particularly in information technology projects. - Assertiveness, confidence, and the ability to facilitate business conversations. - Client engagement and relationship building skills. - Ability to persuade, negotiate, and influence stakeholders. - Superior decision-making skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Business acumen knowledge. Academic qualifications and certifications required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Project/Program Management or related field desired. - Relevant Project/Program Certification(s) preferred. Required experience: - Moderate level of demonstrable experience working in a similar position in a global organization. - Moderate level of experience overseeing standard IT projects through the full life cycle. - Moderate level of project management stakeholder engagement experience.
