Senior Associate Finance & Accounts

Role Overview: As a Senior Associate - Finance and Accounts located in Patel Nagar, Delhi, you will be instrumental in managing the financial health of the organization. Your role will involve overseeing financial transactions, preparing reports, analyzing data, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and understanding of financial principles will greatly contribute to the success and growth of the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner. - Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents efficiently. - Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements regularly. - Generate financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. - Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. - Provide insights and recommendations to enhance budget accuracy and efficiency. - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. - Interpret financial data and prepare reports for management review. - Assist in audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and support. - Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and goals. - Offer recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. IPCC or CMA certification is a plus. - 2-5 years of proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the development sector/NGO. - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting. - Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime/ERP-9 and MS Excel. Experience with ERP systems is desirable. - Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. - High level of integrity and ethical standards.
