Senior Associate - Consumer Products (AI)

The BCC, now known as BCN (Bain Capability Network), has nodes across various geographies. BCN is a vital unit of Expert Client Delivery (ECD), supporting Bain's case teams globally with analytics and research solutions for various industries, corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence, and Bain intellectual property. BCN comprises Consulting Services, Knowledge Services, and Shared Services. As part of the Consumer Products Center of Expertise team, you will collaborate with Bains global Consumer Products Practice leadership, client-facing Bain leadership, and end clients to develop and deliver Bains proprietary CP products and solutions. These solutions address strategic questions of Bains CP clients related to brand strategy, revenue growth management, negotiation strategy with key retailers, and optimization of COGS. You will work within the CP CoE team, consisting of Directors, Managers, Project Leads, Associates, and Analysts, to implement cloud-based advanced analytics solutions. Your role may involve working within a CP Center of Expertise, the broader global Bain case team within the CP ringfence, or other industry CoEs based on requirements. As an Associate, you are expected to have a knack for identifying challenging problems and generating innovative ideas. You will be encouraged to collaborate with peers and managers, showcasing excellent coding skills and a willingness to write modular, reusable, and functional code. In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists to design, fine-tune, and deploy intelligent agents and chains-based applications. Additionally, you will develop and maintain front-end interfaces for AI and data science applications using various technologies, integrate machine learning models with backend systems, translate business problems into technical solutions, and contribute to the design of scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows. To excel in this position, you should have a Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields, or relevant industry experience for Bachelor's candidates. Proficiency in Python, experience in AI/ML, software development, and data engineering, along with a solid understanding of various methodologies and frameworks, is required. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, deployment best practices, MLOps/AI Ops tools, and BI tools is beneficial.
