Senior Associate / Assistant Manager - Direct Taxation

You will be working as a Senior Associate / Assistant Manager in the TRS Direct Tax department at BDO India, located in Hyderabad. Your Reporting Manager will be the Associate Director. With a qualification of CA and at least 1-4 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized corporate and international tax advice to clients. As a Senior Associate / Assistant Manager in Direct Tax, you will be responsible for various core duties including: - Assisting in computing monthly withholding tax liability and preparing/filing quarterly withholding tax statements - Preparing lower withholding tax applications - Assisting in the preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns - Handling direct tax advisory services for domestic and international tax matters - Providing representation and litigation support for income tax assessments and appeals - Discussing technical issues with clients, gathering relevant information, and maintaining outstanding client service - Advising on the applicability of withholding tax based on Double Taxation Avoidance Treaty - Identifying new opportunities for clients and communicating them to the team manager - Managing team members effectively to ensure project completion within budgeted time and cost - Demonstrating good and effective communication skills Qualification Required: - CA qualification - At least 1-4 years of experience in Direct Tax,
