Senior Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all procurement complies withcompany policies and procedures at the best possible price.
• Manage the inventory, monitor usage, and order replenishments as necessary.
• Negotiate vendor contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
• Reduce costs while improving quality. Analyze supply chain processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement cost-saving measures.
• Continuously monitor and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency ,reduce lead times, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the supply chain, such as disruptions in transportation or raw material shortages.
• Procurement of plant and machinery, O&M, project and CAPEX.
• Handle import purchasing and customs license clearance for imports.
• Procurements of all mechanical, electrical & instrumentation project items such as evaporators, boilers, incinerators, PCC & MCC panels, Electric Motors, Cables,
  Luminaries, DCS Systems, frequency drives, etc.
• New Vendor Development
• Technical and commercial comparison of the received quotations.
• Estimating the approximate cost of the product through proper costing techniques
• Final Negotiations with the selected vendors to get the best prices
