Senior Architect

As a member of the team at Saks Global, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative group that combines architectural design, real estate development insight, and generative-AI research. Your role will involve owning the meticulous production work that turns concepts into well-documented, build-ready information. You can anticipate a fast-paced environment where autonomy, reliability, and technical excellence are highly valued. **Key Responsibilities:** - **40% BIM & 3D Modeling** - Develop, refine, and maintain detailed Revit and Rhino/Grasshopper models including massing, facade systems, interior fit-outs, and parametric studies. - **25% 2D Documentation** - Produce and revise drawings to schematic- and design-development-level accuracy; prepare shop-drawing-style packages for Architects of Record. - **10% Graphic & Deck Support** - Generate base imagery, diagrams, and exploded axonometrics; retouch renderings in Photoshop; assemble presentation pages in InDesign and Illustrator. - **10% Meeting & Workflow Coordination** - Join virtual design and stakeholder meetings, capture clear action-oriented notes, log decisions, and track tasks. - **10% File + Data Management** - Curate an organized digital project library and structure datasets for ingestion by LLMs. - **5% R&D + Tool Scouting** - Monitor emerging AI/computation tools, produce briefs on relevance, and beta-test plug-ins or APIs. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional diploma). - 2+ years of hands-on production experience. - A portfolio showcasing high-fidelity BIM models and polished presentation boards. **Required Skills:** - Revit: family creation, view templates, work-sharing, and detailed annotation. - Rhino 7+: precision modeling, layer discipline, export workflows. - AutoCAD: clean 2D drafting and file translation for consultants. - Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. - Google Gemini: database integration. - English communication skills for asynchronous collaboration. - Self-management abilities. **Preferred Skills:** - Grasshopper scripting for parametric studies. - Familiarity with AI image and text tools. - Basic understanding of real-estate pro-formas and zoning. - Experience preparing drawings for US or EU building codes.,
