Senior Android Engineer

In this role as a Senior Android Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality applications and features using your expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines. Your role will involve setting architecture, quality standards, and best coding practices to ensure top-notch performance and user experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and support your team in achieving their goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the architecture, design, and development of applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines. - Own technical decisions related to frameworks, libraries, patterns, and CI/CD processes. - Define and enforce architecture and quality standards, as well as best coding practices. - Collaborate closely with product management and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. - Coach and develop engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing activities. - Drive performance benchmarking, monitoring, and optimization efforts. - Work on product development to deliver a best-in-class mobile application. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience as an Android developer. - Expert-level knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines. - Proven track record of shipping high-quality apps. - Strong affinity for design and UX, with excellent UI implementation skills. - Familiarity with mobile app accessibility requirements. - Self-directed, analytical, highly responsible, and a team player. - Strong verbal and written English communication skills. - University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. In addition to the above requirements, the following capabilities are desirable: - Strong understanding of CI/CD process optimization with tools like Bitrise or GitHub Actions. - Experience with A/B Testing and Feature Flags. - Certifications in related fields are preferred. - Experience with similar mass customer mobile app products and platforms is an advantage.,
