Senior Analyst, Software Sourcing

As a Senior Analyst, Software Sourcing at News Corp, your role will be pivotal in executing the category strategy for assigned software contracts. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with key stakeholders, developing RFx opportunities, tracking category performance metrics, reducing waste, and establishing strong relationships with internal business partners. Additionally, you will be involved in executing sourcing activities, providing guidance on procurement strategies, and driving change management within designated business units. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the category strategy for assigned software contracts by collaborating with key stakeholders and leaders - Develop RFx opportunities for software contracts and provide input to the Category Performance framework - Populate category cards detailing overall category strategies, preferred suppliers, and business unit requirements - Identify areas of opportunity to reduce waste and establish reduction targets - Establish strong relationships with internal business partners and rationalize specifications - Conduct sourcing and supplier engagement activities including RFx, contract analysis, bid evaluation, negotiations, and supplier consolidation - Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement strategies and maintain sourcing ethics - Define detailed business requirements with designated business units and prioritize business requirements - Execute change management within designated business units to increase utilization of best practices in sourcing and procurement solutions - Support the evaluation, negotiation, selection, and qualification of vendors - Negotiate contracts with selected suppliers and manage escalations to the legal department Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree or equivalent experience required, MBA is a plus - Minimum 5-6 years of experience working on software contracts (SaaS, Cloud & Data Center contracts & software licensing models) - Minimum 3-4 years of Global Sourcing Experience - Minimum 4 years demonstrated track record of people management leadership experience - Minimum 2-3 years of sourcing transformation experience - Certification in Procurement such as PMP/CPSM/CSCP, preferred Join News Corp's Global Sourcing Organization to be a part of a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, providing opportunities for ongoing career growth and development.,
