Senior Analyst - Industry Insights

As a Senior Analyst at Expedia Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality insights and managing cross-functional projects related to industry trends and competitiveness. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting research and analysis on industry trends, market growth, and competitors" activities to inform business strategy - Querying large datasets and translating data into clear insights and recommended actions - Continuously improving analytical products by identifying new data sources and enhancing existing analytics capabilities - Owning and delivering regular internal reporting consolidating insights from various sources and teams - Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to track and analyze key metrics and understand performance drivers - Managing relationships with external data providers Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a numerical discipline such as Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience - 3+ years of experience in business analytics, competitive intelligence, or a related field - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, and Powerpoint - Excellent communication and presentational skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbal - Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders - Demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects Expedia Group values diversity, inclusivity, and a collaborative work environment.
