Job Description

As a Finance Controller at Cliniqon, a fast-growing healthcare services firm specializing in revenue cycle management, coding, quality assurance, and CDI solutions, you will be responsible for owning the U.S. accounting function. Your role will involve building and maintaining financial processes, producing accurate P&L and EBITDA insights, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations, and driving continuous improvement through expert use of QuickBooks and spreadsheet models. You will report directly to the corporate Finance Controller and closely partner with the U.S. leadership team. Your key responsibilities will include leading monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the U.S. entity, preparing balance-sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining consolidated P&L and EBITDA dashboards, analyzing revenue and expense trends, and providing actionable insights to the leadership team. Furthermore, you will oversee the end-to-end AR cycle, including invoicing, collections, aging analysis, and cash forecasting. Implementing KPIs and controls to minimize DSO and bad-debt reserves will be crucial in this role. You will also ensure that processes and filings comply with U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations, coordinating with the CFO and tax advisers for annual audits and returns. Your role will involve administering QuickBooks (Online) for transaction entry, reconciliations, and reporting, as well as developing advanced Excel/Google Sheets models with pivot tables, macros, and sensitivity analyses. Driving process automation and strengthening internal controls will be key to enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CA preferred. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on U.S. accounting experience, including month-end close and financial statement preparation, is required. You should have a proven track record of managing accounts receivable for U.S.-based businesses and possess expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel/Google Sheets. A deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, IRS regulations, and tax-reporting requirements is essential, along with a strong analytical mindset to translate data into clear financial insights. Excellent communication skills are necessary, as you will be comfortable presenting to the C-suite and external partners. High integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering reliable and timely results are qualities that we value in our team members. The work schedule for this position is from 5 PM to 2 AM IST, Monday to Friday. If you believe you possess the qualifications and experience required for this role and are eager to drive financial excellence forward at Cliniqon, please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience to incareers@cliniqon.com. We are excited to learn how you can contribute to our team and help us achieve our growth goals.,
