Senior Advisor - Software Engineering

As a Software Engineer (internally known as a Software Engineer Advisor), you will be responsible for delivering solutions that are tailored to the end user's needs as a valuable member of a highly autonomous Scrum Team. Your main tasks will involve designing and implementing cloud deployable microservice solutions, platform components, and packages for other development teams. Collaborating across the organization, you will play a key role in influencing solutions for complex problems and enhancing the skills of your fellow technologists. Your responsibilities will include: - Building modern, architecturally sound components, tools, and applications. - Applying Engineering discipline to design and problem-solving processes. - Advocating for and implementing best practices. - Maintaining a strong focus on end-user satisfaction. - Collaborating effectively with peers to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions. Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience and technical knowledge. - Over 10 years of experience in Full-stack Software Development. - Extensive background in Software Development with proficiency in multiple programming languages, especially C#.Net. - Expertise in Microservice Architecture and Event Driven Architecture. - Hands-on experience with SOLID principles, Architectural Patterns, and Development Best Practices. - Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Terraform. - Experience with Azure DevOps and Kubernetes. - Proficient in working with SQL databases and creating database schemas for business processes. - Familiarity with unit testing, Test Driven Development, and the use of mocking frameworks.
